Dimapur, May 11: “The Nagalim for Christ Council of Nagalim Churches” expressed shock over the “senseless killing of Lieutenant Vitoshe, Chaplain of Thungbo Brigade on May 5 at about 4:30 pm by the reactionary elements/ Unification gang.”
A condolence message received here from the CNC which was issued by ‘Major’ Shem Jajo, informed that “Chaplain Vitoshe was dragged out of his house in full view of his wife and children and killed mercilessly at Burma Camp, Dimapur.”“He was a godly man of the Church, a faithful husband to his wife, a loving father to his children and a dear friend to fellow workers,” stated the message.The message further stated that the demise of the Chaplain is a great loss to all and is irreplaceable in anyway. The Council further expressed condolence for the death and prayed that God may comfort the bereaved family members.
